The numbers 1,3,5,7,9,11 and 13. Seriously, the only thing odder than that is that our President and Congress have really waited way too long before doing something about our country’s finances.
We need to get more jobs going and the only odd thing about that is that neither Congress nor our President have introduced anything in the proposed changes that will create jobs at a local level for people who are in need of money and work.
Taxes aren’t going to be paid by Americans who are out of work. It just won’t work – they won’t have any money. If something isn’t done to encourage businesses to start spending more on local communities and making it worth while to create work, I fear for what is going to happen in the future.
We need more incentives to create jobs, local manufacturing, and industry opportunity zones throughout the country and not just localized in some parts of cities that are in urban chaos. The incentives have to be for American citizens who are out of work to get hired and it has to be that business will get rewarded for starting up shop and getting and keeping employees. I am just sayin. Things won’t change overnight but there is no need to wait for the doomsayers to hit 2012, we are having a pretty bad time as a nation overall right now.
Write the President and Congress and tell them to get the debt ceiling in place, start creating and encouraging local, American jobs. That is what we need to get the nation back on its feet.
We need to cut overseas spending and get more incentives locally here in the United States to get work going and people off their butts.
Thanks for listening and have a good weekend.
